Clippy Pet is a small volunteer project with a lead maintainer, a code of conduct, and a low bar for saying hello.

  • Contributing: setup, GitFlow branches, PR checklist, writing style.
  • Show and tell: post your remix, your terminal screenshot, your pet-that-isn't-a-paperclip.
  • Support: where to ask what.
  • Security: how to report a vulnerability privately.
  • Code of conduct: Contributor Covenant 2.1.
  • Governance: who decides what, and how that might change.

The quickest ways to help right now, in rough order of impact:

  1. Install it, and tell us if it didn't work (bug report).
  2. Star the repo so package-manager reviewers see it's used. Homebrew-core, for one, has a notability bar.
  3. Package it for your ecosystem; the recipes are drafted and listed on the package managers page.
  4. Improve a frame (submit a variant).
  5. Fix a sentence on any page with the pencil icon in the top right.
